The current Sodor Workshop site was somehow involved in these shenanigans as well. There were copyright issues, accusations of pirating, and the entire site being taken down. I seem to recall some discussions here years ago about the original Sodor Island web site and its Thomas assets. I did a Google search for some of those listed kuids and got a link to a Romanian Trainz forum where, after translating the posts, I discovered that they did not have the missing assets either but forum members there were also asking the same questions - where are they?
